Tax Benefits

You can claim tax benefits by declaring the donation you made to Payir, when you file your Income Tax in India. Under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, you can avail of tax exemption for upto 50% of your donation.

Since the deduction can vary depending on your income structure, we suggest you consult a Chartered Accountant to determine the exact reduction in income tax in your case. In order to claim this benefit, you might have to provide the following at the time of filing your income tax:

  1. Payir’s PAN number: AAATP9755F
  2. Payir’s 80G certificate number: 6162E(136)/2009-10/CIT-I/TRY
    (valid for donations made on or after Apr 1, 2010)
  3. Payir’s 80G certificate* (link)
    (valid for donations made on or after Apr 1, 2010)
  4. Your donation receipt** We will send you a hard copy of these by post once we receive your donation
