Code of Conduct and Values


Activity Area:
Payir shall be committed to serve only the rural community. It shall undertake a combination of charitable, economically self-sustainable and spiritual programs to facilitate growth of a socially and economically self-reliant rural society. It shall always pursue participatory approach with direct involvement of the local people in all its programs and projects.

Means
Payir shall at all times uphold the moral principle of "Means are as important as the goals". Its activities shall always be governed by the universal law of Truth. It shall always act honestly, ethically, morally and with the highest integrity. It shall never use any untruthful means, to reach any of its program goals.

Contributions
Payir shall only accept voluntary contributions made in cash or in kind, provided such a contribution is consistent with Payir's value system. Payir shall never offer un-due favors to any of its contributors.

Affiliation
Payir shall never be aligned directly or indirectly with any specific political party. Payir shall never profess of its own or be governed by a specific political or religious ideology. The members of Payir are free to pursue their own private life including political and spiritual affairs as long as it does not adversely affect or influence the activities of Payir.
